Ok...updates on a few other matters.
Big softball game tonight. Trying to improve our record to 5-0. Let you guys know how it turns out. I am going to try to take a picture or two.
Finally got everything worked out with the new ride. The new supercharger was installed yesterday and I picked it up this morning. So thats one thing I can put to bed. This car is going to about 700 HP in the next little bit so I will keep yall updated on that.
Viper deal is still pending. We will still see how this turns out. I suspect at this point that nothing will come of it.
Headed to the lake this weekend...right after UT starts their football season. Wouldnt miss that. This weekend at the lake could be trouble though as Robert is coming in and I think a few other buddies are going to be at their places. So it should be a good time.

Carlos and...YOU SAID MY TAB IS HOW MUCH?
We celebrated Angela's birthday out at the little lake establishment known as Carlos and Charlies on Saturday night. We had about twenty of us come out and, with the after party at my place, ended up going till about 10 AM the following morning. My bar tab rivaled the tab I had at my birthday party. I am not quite sure how it got that high. But we did well, only one of us was asked to leave the bar. Sunday was a rough day as you might imagine since we didnt go to sleep until almost noon on Sunday. Here are a few pics of the Carlos and Charlies party. I am posting no pics of the after party since, just like in Vegas, what happens at the Plaza Lofts stays at the Plaza Lofts. All I will say is, there are strange stains that I had to clean off my couch and random clothes all over the place. From what I remember it was that kind of party.

Spinning My Wheels
Yesterday was Ang's birthday and her and I decided to try the new hip trendy sushi place down on sixth street called Maiko. I have to say this place is all show and no go. The sushi was ok, the service was ok, pretty much everything was ok. That leaves Mushashino and Uchi to try, but other than that I have been to pretty much every reputable sushi place in town and in my opinion none of them are as good as Umi.
So the Viper sale has reared its ugly head again. Sold the car on Ebay and the guy paid me and now he got the car and claims he's unhappy with it. Not sure how this one will turn out.
We had a new addition to the fleet of toys yesterday. We bought a new little four wheeler for the ranch for all the little ones to ride. By little I mean like eight and under. I find this really funny. When I wanted a four wheeler when I was like ten, my loving father was like "no, you dont need one of those, they're too dangerous". Now dad's buying them for kids younger than that. His old age has softened him up I guess.

Angela's Birthday Party
This Saturday 8:30 we're doing dinner and drinking at Carlos and Charlies. Just a few folks and a little more laid back than mine. So come have a drink on me for Ang's birthday.

We Are the Champions My Friends...
I must have missed the blog more than i thought becuase I dont recall doing two entries in one day in a long while. I just keep thinking of loose ends that I need to tie up. Our softball team closed out last season with a stellar 0-10 record. We had a few close games but were a little out of our league as far as talent level. We were basically in the intermediate league which consists of tournament teams who live and breathe softball. So we have moved down to a lower novice league and are DOMINATING. We're off to a 4-0 start and winning all of our games by double digits. However, last week we played the powerhouse of the league. They had been talking trash all season about how they could roll up any team in the league. Well we found ourselves down 12-2 at one point. Game looked pretty much over, but we scored three runs and made it 12-5 then in the last inning, we rallied and took the lead 13-12. They scored on in their last at bat and therefore we had to go to extra innings. We played three extra innings and ended up winning 17-13. So we are leading the league at this point.
Denali Drama
So I just had this big long eloquent post written and I tried to spell check it and it got erased. So youre gonna get the condensed version now.
Friday: Got two parking tickets and went on an obscenity laced tyrade about how worthless meter maids are and how I would like to punch this particular meter bitch in the face.
Rest of the weekend: Didnt go out as I am curbing the drinking for a bit. Spent a lot of time in the gym. Went to the gun show (no not bragging about my biceps) with Christian and saw some scary dudes who are convinced the government is flying over our houses in black helicopters and we must all arm ourselves in order to fight back. Wackos.
Monday morning: Cooler heads did not prevail and I damn near hit a tree as I drove through the grass at Angelas apartment complex just to show some idiot in a Honda whats up. Im sure him and all his coworkers got a good laugh as I knocked my truck out of alignment and left red paint on my air dam from hitting the fire lane curb at about 30 mph.

DONT CALL IT A COMEBACK
So the blog took a little hiatus. I neglected it for the summer. Mostly due to apathy and not wanting to use this blog as a soapbox which would have happened trust me. This blog was started with the purpose of being lighthearted and fun and will continue to be that way. So all the drama that occurred over the summer will not be discussed. Just know, my shit list has grown immensely and a few people cemented themselves as folks i know will be there when the chips are down.
So to catch everyone up really really quickly, here's a rundown of the summer so far since the rolling thunder entry. Harley Rally, good but most of the pics would be banned from this site, Lake Tahoe, South Padre, JY's 30th(im posting pics of this because my attire was priceless) , Drag Boat Races, and not near as many lake weekends as I would have liked. I will go back through my pics this afternoon and post any great ones.
Now on a more somber note...the Viper has departed. It left for Pennsylvania yesterday. In its place is a shiny new little car. Ill post some pics of it later.
