Margaritas and Karaoke

After I got back from Florida on Friday, Ang and I hooked up with Brent and Alley at Six. We stayed there a little while and went over to the Second Chance Prom at Vicci. Anyways, no pics from this as I left my camera in my car.
So Saturday, Ang got margaritas and dinner set up at Baby A's. I showed up and realized there was far too much estrogen for me to be the only source of testosterone. Me and five girls spelled trouble. I called Kyle up and him and Rich came to help me out. So we had dinner and a few drinks. Ashley, you need to get out more sweetheart. The girls decided they wanted to go to the flower shop. I wasnt feeling it, so i swayed the vote to karaoke. So we headed over to Common Interest. Stayed sober and left around one as Ang and I were exhausted from the previous night. Stay tuned as today is the team picture for my basketball team. Yall will like this.

Celebration, Florida

I spent a couple of days last week in Celebration, Florida. For those who havent been there, this is a suburb of Orlando. When you are in this place, you expect to see all the Stepford Wives coming out of the houses. This place is almost creepy in its innocence. Had a few meetings for work, found a great sushi bar, and worked out alot. A nice breather from the weekly grind.

What r u gonna do now?...I'm going to Disney World

Well, well, well.

Headed off to the Sunshine State on Wednesday for a quick two day trip. I'll be back on Friday, so dont worry ladies, I will not be away for too long. I have a conference down there that is actually very important for me to attend. The unfortunate thing is I am going to miss Vicci's one year anniversary party this Wednesday night.

Last weekend, actually last week, was a blur. I somehow managed to go out four consecutive days and not really have one great story. Come on, you all know me better than that. We had a lot of fun and random things happen since Wednesday night. I do have some pics, I think theyre pretty lame though, I may post them later.

Memorable events for those who were there or have previous knowledge: the space princess, the magnolia cafe water incident, gaming up two lesbians in front of the gay club just to laugh about it, my friend Chris getting assaulted not once but twice by drunk girls in Vicci, the girl telling the three guys "i dont know what's wrong with him, all he likes to do is f&#* me", taking an hour to paint two fingernails, & surfing the internet at a nightclub.

Good and Bad News

First the bad news, I forgot my camera so I have no pictures of sunny Scottsdale.

Now the good news, I had a blast in Scottsdale. We started the trip off by going straight from the airport and just killing some time and wandering around the kierland shopping center in downtown Scottsdale. This is like nothing I have ever seen. Its like an outdoor shopping mall. I know what you all are thinking "like a shopping center right" wrong. Picture an actual mall with no roof. Its laid out like that and it has little cantinas and outdoor cafes all over. We shopped for a bit, I got some cool stuff and then headed back to the house. We kicked it at the house that afternoon and went shooting. Nothing like shooting a machine gun. That evening we headed over to the sports bar for some drinks. After getting ready we headed over to Suede. Suede is a very trendy club in downtown Scottsdale. It very much reminds me of a Miami style nightclub, both in its layout and its clientele. Beautiful people and a never-ending stream of Ferraris and Aston Martins waiting to valet out front. Closed that place down and headed for the house.

The next morning we headed out for a little motorcycle ride around Scottsdale. Nice relaxing ride up around the lake. That afternoon, we hung out at the house a little bit more. Took it easy that evening, we were going to head over to E-4 which is apparently a little more of a dance club type atmosphere than Suede, but elected not to. I ended up rescheduling and coming home on Sunday morning instead of Monday morning just because I wanted to be home for Easter.

Overall I had a great time and much appreciation goes to my hosts: Jon, Brad, and Blake. Looking forward to the next trip and you guys need to get back here to Austin.

Notable stories from the weekend: Brad going over the wall not once but twice, Brad threatening to kill a small child while eating, meeting quite a few smart people (Brad and Jon know what this means), my flight home with only 17 people on the whole plane, the Ritz Bitz binge, and the Spiderman chronicles.

I'm Leaving On A Jet Plane

I'm off to Scottsdale tomorrow to kick back in sunny Arizona for the weekend. I will be back on Monday. It should be a good change from the usual gig. Hopefully I'll have a few drinks by the pool and just chill and see what the clubs in Phoenix are like. I'll try to get some good pictures.

Lake Mondays

Monday afternoon got slow at work, so I took off a little early and headed to Lake Austin with a few folks. Got the first set of the summer in on the wakeboard, water was cold. Went to Lucy's Boatyard for dinner and met a few more friends over there. Finally got off the water around ten. Cracked the seal on getting in the water for the summer. Time to start hitting the lake more often.

Memories of Years Gone By

I guess everyone knows the birthday party was last Friday Night. The flake factor was in full effect. I had 130 RSVP'd...had about 90 show up. We had almost all parties represented, people just overestimated the number of guests they would bring. People who have thrown big parties before say this is about average. What sucks though is I was turning people away who wanted to come the last week because I had too many on the list.

The number we had ended up being perfect and by midnight or so, the party was ripping. The ice block stayed really busy all night and had anywhere from two twins duking it out, to me and the club owners tearing it up (see the pics below). I am not going to sugarcoat it; I got ripped.

Memories from the evening: the little crazy guy that wanted to fight me at the pizza place, somehow losing the battery out of my camera half way through the night (that's why there arent more pics), me giving Robert my phone to keep me out of trouble and then forgetting and getting pissed that I lost my phone later that night, the infamous and illegible twenty-five cent tip, offering the waiters one hundred dollars to carry the ice block upstairs after the bar closed so Brent and I could roll the damn thing down fifth street and start a big after party with people the block attracted (this would have worked by the way, as I can attest to from my experiences Saturday night rolling just the stand down fifth), the BJ room (no details here). Thanks for everyone coming and a special thanks to Angela for throwing me a wonderful birthday party.

Saturday was rough. Angela, Brad, and I went and ate sushi. Then we had sushi again without ever leaving the table. I hung out with Brad and Jon that afternoon and then rode my motorcycle out to Stacy's house for the party out there. Took it easy out there and rode back around nine and kicked it.

Sunday I just chilled, worked out, played in Kyle's basketball game that afternoon (Im going to get some pics of this, as their uniforms are hilarious), went to Sullivan's for dinner and watched The Sopranos.

Smaller birthday party in the next few weeks at the lakehouse. I will let you all know.

Crunk and Disorderly

Alright Guys:

Birthday party this Friday. Ice block is a definite at this point. So I'll put that out there. Should be a good time for everyone. I know most of those who check this blog will be there, but I'll make sure I post some good pictures anyway. Im hoping with 100+ people coming it will get a little out of hand.

Also, everyone stay tuned as I'm going to have a smaller, more intimate gathering at the lakehouse for possibly like a Friday night and all day Saturday here in the next few weeks. More details when I decide on them.

In addition, I brought my boat back in town on Sunday and Im thinking we're going to go wakeboarding and take it to Hula Hut Thursday afternoon. Not sure, but hopefully. So Im sure I'll post some good pictures of that if it comes through. Hit me up if you want to go.

With the warm weather here, exciting events are picking up...I've got a few trips planned in the next couple of months, Florida, Lake Tahoe, and possibly Phoenix, so be looking for some pictures of those. All of this coupled with the lakehouse events and the Harley Rally should make for some really exciting blog entries coming up. Something better than, "we went downtown and got real drunk blah blah blah". So check back for all of this.
