Its Coming....110+ mph

So the hot road boat is currently undergoing some "small" engine modifications looking for about 120 more horsepower a side. Thatll take me up to around1600 horsepower total. Hoping for about 10 more mph which should put me cruising along at 100 with a top speed up over 110. Getting closer to where we want to be (dont really know where we want to be yet, just faster). I guess, I'll have to go to a catamaran to go much faster than we already are as the fastest non raceboat v-hulls are running only 130-140. Thinking it may take 150+ to get where we "need to be". (already got my plane tickets booked for the Miami boat show in February).

On another boat note, I know this will make all the LBJ guys sad, I parted ways with the wakeboard boat earlier this month. I had only used it about four times in the past two years and just was having to make myself use it to justify having it. Found an oppurtunity to sell it and jumped on it. Haven't missed it at all at this point. Other than I have a mountain of wakeboard stuff that I dont need anymore. Let me know if you guys are looking for anything in particular.

Oklahoma this weekend. Yet again, we go in as a top five team and will probably get our ass kicked. We can always hope though. UT has looked good the past few weekends.

Hit up the big in the water end of season boat show on Travis on Friday night for their VIP party. Got as drunk as we could till we ran out of money paying five dollars a drink. Never thought "VIP" would mean cash bar and free chips and queso, the band was good though.

Checked out the new downtown restaraunt Maria Maria Cantina at a pre grand opening deal over the weekend. This was more of a VIP deal with free drinks and food all night long. Apparently Carlos Santana is a partner in the joint. Unfortunately didnt see him there. Food was decent, drinks were pretty good. I'll go back.

Here are a few pics I could scrounge up of stuff lately that I have been promising pictures of...

Joe Pandak's new 36' 160mph Skater
Good to see Chad's 43' Nortech Cat finally out of the shop and on the water for the first time this year
The girls at The Pier on stop number 2
Jason wondering what the hell somebody is doing in Devil's Cove at the end of the run.
