Weekend Update

Sorry, no clever title for the entry this weekend. Im too worried about the fact that I have to take clients to play golf in the morning in the frozen tundra that has been Austin, Texas the past few days.

Well, I gave the camera a rest this weekend. But I ended up going out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Different type of action every night. Started with an evening of relaxing drinks at Six with Molly and Steve on Thursday night. Claire and Sami made an attempt to join us later in the evening, but were unable to do so due to unfortunate circumstances.

Friday was Cody's birthday. Cody and Amber came over and had some drinks with Ang and I before going out. Met up with some other people. Saw some guys I havent seen since high school. Witnessed a random fight in the club. With the exception of the weather, I think Cody had a good birthday party. After closing the bar down, Cody and Amber came back to my place with Ang and I and had another couple of drinks and wound down in front of the TV for a little while.

Saturday was Meredith and Scott's "end of freedom" bash. About thirty of us went to dinner and then headed to Cedar Street Courtyard to have some drinks. Only problem with Cedar Street is it's an outdoor locale. We werent there very long before the bride-to-be elected to move the party to my favorite downtown watering hole, Vicci. This made two nights in a row of running into random people I havent seen in a while as I happened across my buddy's ex-girlfriend with her new boyfriend. Awkward and funny at the same time.

Today I didnt do a damn thing. I found out some stuff about someone that irritated the hell out of me, but I expected it, and I should have known. Oh well, water off a duck's back. Overall, the day was great, as I found a brand new Ipod Nano, still in the box, in the middle of the road. How cool is that.

Stay tuned, as Im going to post some pics of this weekend if I can get them. Vegas in two weeks also. That should be a good time. Trying to think of something for Spring break. Im going to try to come up with something worthwhile. Keep you all posted.
