Back To School

Ive been really busy the last few days. Five of us have had a seminar in San Antonio the past few days. Ive been getting up at five in the morning to head out and getting home around six. Ive been hittin the books as soon as I get home. Its awful, I feel like I am back in college when I actually went to class. I sit in class all day and then come home and hit the books as soon as I get here. Tomorrow is the last day of the seminar, and Im done with homework for the week, so things are looking a little slower for the one day left this workweek.

This weekend, Rolling Stones concert Sunday night. UT and Nebraska Saturday morning at eleven. I plan on sleeping in, rolling over, turning the TV on, watching the first half, going to the gym right at half time and watching the third quarter on a treadmill. I know to most that doesnt sound like a good time, but to me it sounds perfect for a weekend. Be nice to take it easy this weekend as the next several will be busy.

Halloween Party is taking shape, Im worried it could get a little crowded as more people are RSVP'ing that originally expected. I decided Im not going to have a half-ass party, so im going all out for it. I should have some really cool stuff if I can have it made by then.

Pimps and Hoes party that was scheduled next weekend is looking shaky at best. Im thinking the guy who was gonna host slacked off and now he's scrambling to get it together. We'll see.

OK, time for the story. My friend Brad and I were discussing work today. He was telling me about his new assistant and how her boyfriend is a boxer and his family is from Houston. He started talking more about the boyfriend and I was like "wait does he have a sister"? Brad confirmed some details and I realized Brad's assistant's boyfriend was my friend Casey's brother. Wow. In the tiny village of Los Angeles, where I know all of like five people who live there, one of them is Casey's brother. Talk about a small world.
