This was a weekend of unrealized potential. Brad made the trip from Phoenix to come for Robert Earl on Friday, the game on Saturday, and the party surrounding the game. Friday started off great, we were a little slow getting going but rolled in right as Robert Earl hit the stage. Cody came through and hooked us up with Robert Earl's cousin, Lane, who got us all backstage passes. So about eight of us hung out backstage during the concert and had a great time...until it started raining. The rains came right as the concert finished so we headed for the cars. We all met up back at the downtown staging area, also known as my place. From there we headed over to Hi/Lo and met up with Jeff and Josh and lots of other folks. Closed'em down and passed out with no exciting stories, but a good evening except for the weather.
Saturday, I got a late start due to the previous late night. Brad, Ang, and I had sushi and met up with Ashley to hit up the game. I had planned to go to a pre-party that Im sure was great but due to the late start I figured "hey, plenty of time to go celebrate the win at the after-party". Well, I guess you all know that the win didnt happen. Call me crazy but I couldnt get too fired up about partying after the miserable showing that we put forth. But, we had a good run, and I still expect big things from this team this year. We'll have to see.
No big plans this week, softball team has to try to bounce back from last week's loss. So that should make this Wednesday's game a big one.

I Guess The Problem With Being Backstage is You See Their Back
