Well, this weekend was pretty much what was expected...kinda. Friday night Kyle, Ang and I met up with Andrew and a few of his friends. We stopped by Agave, Soho, and Cuba Libre before calling it an early night. Ran into a few other friends throughout the course of the night. It was fun, but far from memorable. Saturday, we had a guy's trip to the football game. It was MISERABLE. Brutal heat followed by pouring rain. Felt like Houston. Saturday night, I did nothing. Angela was in Waco at a wedding and didnt get back till after midnight so i watched college football and hung out around the house. Sunday...more of the same. Worked out, did some laundry and brainstormed on some school stuff and other personal projects.
On a more exciting note. Figured out at least one little weekend excursion I am taking. Aerosmith and Motley Crue (notice the title of the post) concert in Las Vegas on November 4th. That should be a good time. I have Brad working on some VIP passes for this. Hopefully he will come through. I am also working on one other trip in the next few weeks hopefully, but its nothing more than an idea at this point. Big Pimps and Hoes party this weekend. Big OU game next weekend. Big Harley ride here in three weeks. I am not looking forward to the whole 800 + miles in two days on a bike, its just not appealing to me. Rolling Stones here in four weeks. If I cant get some good pictures from all of this crap, then I am just not much of a photographer. There is a rumor floating around that we may be going to the Nebraska game as well. We'll see if its true.
OK....here's a feeler. Who is feeling a Halloween party at my digs on Saturday October 28th???
And last but certainly not least. TOMORROW is D-DAY. The culmination of 23 years of blood, sweat, and tears. My folks dont read this blog...but for those of you who know them, tell dad congratulations tomorrow assuming everything goes as planned today.
