I Think We R Onto Something Here

Ok guys, i think I have figured out what gets on my nerves about myspace. I rarely if ever go to anyones profile other than my own, I know that sounds vain, but I did this afternoon. I browsed through some profiles of some friends and actually read some of the stuff on them. COME ON PEOPLE, Interests: I love Jesus, Ponies, Kitty Cats, and furry little bunnies...knowing some of these people, here's the correct version Interests: Booze, Staying Out All Night Every Night, Cocaine, and pretty much the complete opposite of everything I actually put on my profile. Come on guys, Myspace has become nothing more than a billboard of who we would like total strangers to think we are. Then, most of us go and set our profiles to private, so those people who actually DO KNOW us and do know that our posted interests are completely bullshit are the only ones who can see our fake made up interests. Hell, I am guilty of it too, I find myself going through pictures saying, nope cant post that one I dont look good in it, nope not that one either, OK this is a good one. People who know me know what the hell I look like, they dont need to look at some damn picture of me to remember. Im not saying everyone does this but I would bet most of us do. I have already promised that my myspace will not go private (unless crazy stalker stuff starts happening), and I am going to my Myspace right after this and I am going to revise my interests and the like to actually reflect the real me. It may be sleazy, it may be incriminating, it may be downright stupid, but it will be honest.
